The 6.8L is a 6-cylinder marine engine offered in cold or heat exchanger configurations. It is either turbocharged, not post-cooled, turbocharged with engine coolant post-cooling or turbocharged with seawater post-cooling. The engine has a constant power up to 400 rpm below the rated speed, making these engines an excellent choice for launches, workboats, trawler yachts and patrol boats.
